Another recent addition to the alocasia family... Alocaisa green shield from Indonesia.

I added two of these during the last garden festival , plants are happy and new leaves are growing.

This is the second rebloom after getting it from this year's Garden Festival. While I have heard/read about some complaints regarding roots for plants from this vendor, I had no problems with the  plants I bought. Roots remain green and heathy and I left them in their original potted media. Maybe I am lucky.
While the new bloom is smaller in my warmer growing conditions, the colour and fragrance remains intense.
