Alocasia hilo beauty
A nice sun loving plant. It wasn't doing well till I moved it to the ground where it can now enjoy basking in the sun all day long.
The shy one
As if peeking from behind the fern bark, this phalaenopsis bellina red ( more like magenta) is a first bloom from seedling. Colour is quite even and shape is nice. I think the blooms will improve as the plant mature. I see potential !

The hanging garden
I call this the hanging garden and it's where I grow my some of my ribbon ferns, lycos and huperzias. The process of trying to propagate ophioglossums by putting their spores into other ferns to grow takes too long. Although I have put ophio spores into some of the platys, cutting up the larger specimens seems to be the most practical and productive currently.
A Catt among the Shomburgkia Orchid
Another catt starting to bloom, this one is surrounded by a large clump of schomburgkia. Originally grown on the jungle palm, the palm has since died and I cut off the part of the trunk and attached a hook to hang them up. Incidentally, the schomburgkia is also multi-spiking.
Asco ratchaburi beauty DPAS 1
One of a few vandas and ascos I bought during WOC last year. Its adapting well and reflowering. One of two left when I visited the booth. I got it for a song. Its quite incredible how much the prices of nice orchids have come down over the years.
