While this hybrid does not have fantastic colour or shape, it is very floriferous and constantly throws out lots of blooms on multispikes.

Phalaenopsis violacea DPVM 1
I love the intense magenta colour of this violacea I bought @ WOC last year. I was told by the vendor it is a malaysian violacea crossed with a violacea blue bought from an american grower. The actual bloom has a darker and more intense magenta colouration than this mid afternoon shot with the handphone.

Phalaenopsis cornu-cevi ( wild ) DPCV 2
One of several wild specimens bought from Song orchids many years back. Happily growing on the champaka tree.
Phalaenopsis venosa DPVS 2 keiki in bloom
Another venosa, both mother plant and keiki in bloom. Shape is the more conventional A shape but the markings are nice.
