Anthurium Sirih

I bought a large one from AMK nursery some years ago, found a small one with a few heads this trip. I think this will eventually yield more than 5 plants...

Ambo hybrid .... I am guessing

A first bloom from this plant, a gift  from Edward ( plucked from his butterfruit tree ) , one of several he has left bought from Mr David Lim long time ago. I have no idea what is the ID of this hybrid, colours are nice and petals are thick. Spike is however a little on the long side.

Rehydrated Dendrobium farmeri

A refreshed looking Dendrobium farmeri in it's new home.

Phalaenopsis mambo flava DPMF 1

I bought a few of these some months back when they were available. One of them is in bloom and the others are spiking. The blooms are actually quite nice althought I wish the bars will be thicker and the yellow a little stronger . I am keeping my fingaers crossed since this is only the first bloom from a young plant.

Really Cute !

Yes ugly but loveable, I always have the soft spot for Lophophoras or peyotes and when I saw a nice one I just had to get it.  Labelled as a Lophophora Williamsii var japan, this one is pretty big about the size of a tomato measuring about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.

Lophophora Williamsii aka Peyote

I was happy with my find but it was not over ..... while buying some plastic pots for my plants, I saw this Lophophora Diffusa. It was not large .... it was humongous !!!

The 2 1/2 inch Peyote was a dwarf compared to this big guy. Standing at a hefty 6 inches above ground it is roughly the size of a honey pineapple. I have never imagined they would grow to this size.... and best part there are yes I counted 11 babies on it.

Dendrobium Farmeri

Another quick snapshot, a white/yellow version, colours are clean and this will make a good companion for the cutting that I got from Edward.

Yellow Phal Hybrid

A quick snap shot of the dehydrated phal with the phone, labelled as a (Phal yungho gelblitz x Phal yungho gc) x Phal violacea alba. Bloom is flat, love the very even yellow colour, shape is not bad and I am hoping the blooms will get better with age.
