The eagle has landed
Its getting increasingly difficult to find this locally. One of the my favourite plant food. These were bought online and should last me for at least another year ! Great when travelling if you are planning to bring back a plant or two .

Herbs
I also have been adding herbs to my garden the since christmas. Rosemary is great for roasting chicken, bay leafs for soups and stews. Basil for pasta ! The rosemary from cameron highlands are more leafy but not as fragrant as those grown locally.
Locally grown rosemary in bloom, plant is very fragrant. Large pots can be bought below $20
Fig
I propagated two new plants from this mother plant the last few months. Its easy to grow and loves any kind of fertilizer.

Coryanthes macrantha
This orchid last bloomed when I was away and by the time I managed to get a photo, the blooms had already started to fade. This time i got a better shot when the plant flowered. Large showy flowers with wings and a nice fragrance.
